ERVS training school is the first school for the vitreoretinal training in all over the world and it started with the foundation of the EVRS in the year of 2000 and educated around 50 students every year in Bremen organized by Klaus Lucke & Silvia Bopp till Covid Pandemics. We decided to restart the school again this year.

Since Klaus Lucke retired, we wanted to organize the school with a fresh start in Ankara Turkey in the education center of Turkish Ophthalmological Association (TODEM).

The event is supported by the Turkish Ophthalmological Association in many ways. The course will be a one-week (6-days) course on 24-29 May 2025, which will include both theoretical and practical parts. The lectures will be given by world-wide well known vitreoretinal specialists and they will also contribute to the practical parts. There will be a chance for the students to train with EYESI vitreoretinal simulators, to do wet labs with different vitrectomy machines in model eyes as well as observation of surgeries in Gazi University Hospital.
