ERVS training school is the first school for the vitreoretinal training in all over the world and it started with the foundation of the EVRS in the year of 2000 and educated around 50 students every year in Bremen organized by Klaus Lucke & Silvia Bopp till Covid Pandemics. 

Following the great success of the last edition, we are pleased to announce the new edition of the EVRS Training School, which will take place on May 3–9, 2026, in Ankara, Turkey, at the education center of Turkish Ophthalmological Association (TODEM), with the support of TOA and Gazi University Hospital.

The event is supported by the Turkish Ophthalmological Association in many ways. The course will be a 6-days course on 3-9 May 2026, which will include both theoretical and practical parts. The lectures will be given by world-wide well known vitreoretinal specialists and they will also contribute to the practical parts. There will be a chance for the students to train with EYESI vitreoretinal simulators, to do wet labs with different vitrectomy machines in model eyes as well as observation of surgeries in Gazi University Hospital.
